I believe that the above trend would impact favorably to the main copper wire manufacturers in the medium to long term as Copper and aluminium are two two main components or cables.
ACL is currently trading around 76/= as against a 52 Week high of Rs 107 .
Profits too have increased(June 2011 85.9mil. against June 2010 37.21mil.) indicating a positive trend.
KCAB is trading around 91 levels as against a 52 Week high of Rs139.
Quarterly profits too have increased dramatically (June2011 48.78mil against June 2010 5.67mil)
A director has purchased around 40,000 shares recently around 91 levels according to a CSE filing.
SIRA trading around 4.6 as against a 52 week high of Rs.6.4
Quarterly profits too have increased from 15.32mil in June 2011 to Rs 48.87mil in June 2011 and is bound to increase profits from it construction subsidiary and the planned PVC pipes and fittings factory.
Also the low absolute price would make it attractive to speculative play.
