I'm a new member to your wonderful forum obviously with an interest of becoming an investor in the future. So I've been reading up many articles around here contributed by you gentlemen and all around the web and I do realise there is so much indepth content to learn gradually during my time.

Although I'm still 19 years of age I've been thinking about investing in stocks for long term right away without waiting. Just in extremely insignificant amounts of money here and there until I get a hang of things.(10k-15k is what I have in mind since I can afford to lose it without any issue). I took your advice of not to get into trading so I'm just interested in building up a tiny little portfolio for long term early on xD I'd be extremely grateful if you could share your thoughts and suggestions on this. Where should I start? Smile Thanks in advance.

Sorry to be blunt. With 10 - 15 k there is no point in building up a portfolio to hold for long periods. It will be better to read opinions here and buy a variety of smaller shares to gain the experience as well as build up your capital for future investment. Only advice is don't be too optimistic and buy and sell when you make a reasonable margin.

Main point u should remember is "be aware of manipulators and fake rallies" do not trust all the recommendation here...That's what i learned from the past 4 years of experience.

@bandulawee, thats the plan! To learn and possibly invest more and more when I gain enough experience :3 there is a significant amount of money I'll be receiving in the future so I'll be better off making plans now on. Thank you for the advice everyone! I'm more of a pessimist so I get what you are saying Very Happy all I'm hoping now is a good learning experience! You guys are awesome for even taking your time to share your valuable thoughts.
