Thank all u guys for ur empathy, I guess this is a, kind of a punishment god is giving me , cause I might have done something bad in my past.

Don't worry guys, every Dark Cloud there is a Silver Lining. My wish is not to crash CSE. Then only I can recover my losses in future.

Hope for best.

Dear roshanalv,
Thank you very much for showing your portfolio (as I can see you are a real player in the game)

As a novice for the share market I really appreciate this. When reading the threads in this forum I can see some asks "what is an IPO ?" or something like that in one place & giving instructions to others in another place-> experienced fellows may ignore those posts, but what about us?? Rolling Eyes

At these hard times We(all the unexperienced ones) need most experienced soldiers at the front line of the battle field.
Thanks again & wish you for the best...!!!

Your portfolio displays the least unrealized amount, compared to many. As slstock hinted, you need to build up patience or the capacity to endure hardship. Good Luck

I don't know how long you have been holding, but compared  to  2011 price levels, your portfolio is much better.

I think lot of novices are there. Above guy has done a fairly big investment with a good share selection. But all are long/med term shares. Why expect a return in 30 days?

SLStock - I invested long term 6-12 months but felt bit scarey after Bullrun's story. I also had SAMP 10,000 shares  at Rs 175 but after seeing their performance and Gold exposure, 25% of total domestic lending, existed around 172 at a loss but now feel I did the right thing. I am worried why CFIN is not holding its position after doing fairly well in last quarter.

Wothiness - Thanks !!

You have good counters in my opinion.. Don't worry about what happened to others... He lost his money because fo wrong time investment. In your case its very less likely to loose but very high chance get profit.. I heard sum stories about NEST... Better hold it....TJL also can push up if the mkt moves up...

as long as you are not on credit I don't think you should worry too much . you seemed to have invested in some good counters. patience is the key mate. If you can keep these for a few for even a year I think you will see the results.

Good stock picks, nothing much to worry.

Adding 10,000 SAMP to that portfolio would only make it look better!!!

Bullrun must have played with lot of speculatives shares in big quanties.

You share picks are good companies. YOur loss is minimal compared lot of others.  If you are an investor there is no reason to panic. If this shaky market exisit for nit longer your loss might get a little bigger but I do not see any reason for your shares to crash by huge margins. If you cannot bear to see bigger losses you can sell thinking to buy back later.( but that is a risk at this stage as selling and buying fees is another 2+ % and most shares might have adjusted with lower values now. )

I personally feel NEST is overvalued but it is a special share that cannot be valued using standard ways.

It Seems that you invested money recently. 100K unreleased loss is nothing for me. But if it is going down further sell and make cash to buy back later. I have huge unrealized losses because I did not sell at loss in early 2011.

NEST may be a worry.CFIN no worry. It was stable at 180 and had a slow run to 190 with good volumes. Now pushed down below 180 without a reason.190 will be achieved again. No worries.Very Happy

My comments;
Most of the selected counters look stable. So there shouldn't be any worries on that.

But, better to have some plan before committing too much.
We need to remember markets are always unpredictable.

Good selection. Most probably lots of stock is recent purchased(other than TJL) . Tokyo can categorized as long term. Nest can turnaround anytime. Anyway why dont you sell AEL ,you can buy later(@ 21). From that money buy CINS.X around 370.

I see shares like TKYO are long term investments. Sometimes little movements even for a year. It has already come up from 23s and this might be a resting time.
Also TJL, AEL are growth shares, cant say bad for TJL latest financials either. But market hardly runs for good performance now-a-days. So consider these shares as growth shares with a good dividend. AEL can come down to 22.30 or 21.90 (Fibo levels) if doesnt break 23, so keep an eye and decide what would you do...

NEST is not bad either, yes its overvalued but unpredictable. It has rested well above its 50% Fib at 1814 and still holds ground.
I also see a not so strength BUY signal these days. But if this can hold grounds between 1905 - 1985, passing the latter with volume may trigger a run.

U may have bought some shares at a certain high, but that's not a big issue as the avg values are not that high either.
Overall, I dont see a problem in your portfolio most of the counters are very good.

But as a word of caution, be vigilant on all these.. You can get rid of falling ones and accumulate some more good ones.
