Still CIFL is awaiting a response as a MOU...CSE corporate disclosure on CIFL

And they have expressed desire to acquire 100% ownership.

So at what price is this acquiring going to take place?

After 2014 no financial data

How this new party is entering to business? That's the most important factor. Through a private placement or right issue or any acquisition of existing shares? For 5 billion investment is nothing against CIFL liabilities.
In finance companies lost reputation means it's very hard to rebuild.
How TFC is struggling at the moment? So I don't have much plus points to entering to CIFL

Simple logic, No one will come and invest 5 billion without analysing liabilities. definitely they should have proper business plan to generate profit in future.  Smile

@oma,
Big big investors also doing wrong decisions. Taking decisions are one of must requirements. So I don't argue on that.. but just think how may finance companies are in Sri Lanka at the moment ?
It's not a monopoly business at the moment. Micro business,vecile market,real estate also in a pressure situation at the moment .
So it's very difficult to ruined finance company to rebuild .
It will take 8_10 years to clear accumilated losses from the books .
In that's scenario AAF,SFS are better than CIFL
