Hi Friends,
Can we discuss this now... What's the status of leading stock indices? How USD is performing now against other major currencies?

Come on guys. Just wake up. You all seems to be sleeping at the moment. Lets chat on this topic till the budget speech unfolding.

Thanks

Hi EC,

Will there be any detrimental effect to CSE because of Trump's selection?

Question

kks, you have joined today. Well come on board. Can I ask a simple question.. How you got to know about this forum and what are your objectives to achieve  by joining this forum. There are several other forums as well.

With regard to your question, there will be no effect on CSE at the moment but we need to study on how Trump will act after his official resumption of US Precedency from 20th Jan 2017.

Thanks

Thank You EC for your warm welcome

For the past 2 months I was going through some forums which came up in Google in SL

In my opinion this forum is more active and there appears to comparatively better interactivity with the member community.

My objectives are quite simple, it is to enlighten myself and others with respect to investment in the stock exchange. Without false promotions like that of CIFL Smile

Thanks

Good. One thing you must keep in mind that this forum is meant for discussions not to promote or demote any stock. What is happening with this forum is that the discussion part have fade away dramatically and it has become increasingly a manipulation platform with gossips overflowing.

I think if you can focus on discussions presenting positive or negative facts on stocks, macro economy, micro economy or world markets which have an impact on CSE then your value will increase.

Otherwise you can be another demon of this forum within a hell of demons. So keep in mind what I said here.

So our topic, the world markets, what is happening as of now. Anything you can add please add.

Thanks

Thank You EC

I will try to be prudent to the best of my knowledge Smile

Yesterday there was significant volatility when the official results were announced of DTs selection. Especially Nikkei index dropped about 5% (Approx). The prior day there was a bit of escalation due to the belief that Hilary will be chosen

After the speech I believe it has now relatively stabilized. There might be certain effect on the outsourced BPO or IT companies.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Regards

My understanding is that  markets  in Asia probably will  show temporary , brief and minor fluctuations till they decide the direction. Direction is going to be  nothing else but Business as usual, nonetheless Trump is a Businessman and heard him talking about strengthening US industries and controlling or balancing the import department, Refugee influx ,influx of substandard manpower from Mexico etc.,   in favor of US economy.( I remember  He was talking about those in one of his speeches , If I recall it well) These are mostly  statements made  when coming to power,  even if they are to be really  implemented, it will involve TIME and Plenty of discussions with relevant experts in respective fields.
Mean time as CSE  has been mostly one of the less effected among other Asian markets  during Crises ,Our exports  to the US and EU have been less vulnerable compared to other asian countries , past statistics show the patterns. As for the US $ it could get stronger in the long run If TRUMP IS HERE TO DO WHAT HE PROMISED TO DO.

Open for corrections , all are accepted in good spirit
