13.5 million shares of Kelani Tyres PLC (TYRE), which runs a joint venture with India CEAT group, were traded yesterday in the market, contributing Rs.795 million to the day's turnover.

Brokers believe that the shares traded were owned by the company's third largest shareholder Dr.T Senthilverl who held nearly 13 million shares of the company as at 31 December 2010. The shares were traded at Rs.58-69 range. Dr. Senthilverl recently upped his stake in Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC over 10 percent in share purchase amounting to 14.7 million shares.

HE sold most of his CDB shares also taking the share price down a huge deal after they announced great results. Also I think he sold some SEMB shares recently. I don't follow big names usually but it begs the question what does these big guns thinking of the current CSE condition!

Probably TYRE shares sold due to, rubber price hike which will make their profit down, but why he sold big amount of CDB shares, after very good result from them. I think he is still holding part of his CDB shares. Difficult to understand the exact reason behind that.

i believe it's not good to follow HNI..............,They have different strategies time to time........Dr Sintherveli is a person who seek for profits, like in SEMB incident,he bought SEMB X and sold back.........until he enter to SEMB,it was stagnant....i may be wrong........
