Some say opening price may lower than 25.(personally i don't believe this)

i think we can expect at least share to be rise to 35-40 levels,if not i wont sell......i'm not expecting a scenario such as happened to LGL,it almost came below the issue price and shoot thereafter........i may be wrong.....

yes mark...i also expect that price levels.....but i may hold it as a medium term investment.... Smile

don't forget the fact that only 15,000,000 shares are offered through IPO

If quantity is low we can expect high prices...(but don't follow the quantity)

If we take the BFI sector PER as 20.9 , (source cse.lk)
"theoritical " Market Value of share = 20.9*0.63 =13.17 Rs

Though the bank is not big in customer wise, its share issue is subject to customers first basis.. Means customers get more than retailers.. so we can see the LGL effect sometimes.. A customer may request a big amount and dip it low since its a simple gain for him and all others will start selling low..
If this happens I'll collect below 30 and keep till the rush fades away and retailers show some interest ;-)

they had last private placement at 25.
but before that there was at 12..

We can't predict exact amount.
But as a new comer it is a good choice to go for 300 shares.

I'd say they'd at least give u a 500 shares if you apply.. so u can try 500..

Well.. all the recent IPOs held have considered the smallest investor by giving him min 500 shares.. Only after 500 they've started the quota pack.. So I'm sure the same will apply here..

I could be right or wrong, however, I'm only gonna apply 500 ;-) since I dont wanna keep money held up for 20-25 days..
