hi. Everyone's mentality and confidence on our favourite cse is nowdays drastically falling. All guys here want atleast to reduce the loss. No need for anymore profit.

I have lost almost 37% of my portfolio (unrealised loss) from the period since market started to go down. From so called fundamentals which were invested for longterm like rich, flch, lgl & shl and from some short term investments.

What about your percentage of loss, my dear friends?

In absence of short selling, all investors are loosing money when the market moves down. Some in millions and some are in billions, therefore don't worry much about the loss so long as your companies are with sound fundermentals.

Just about 23% but I am willing to hang in there.
Time and credit are no worry to me at the moment. Cool

There's always around 2.5% lose even if you sell at the bought price because of the abnormally high broker charges in Sri Lanka. That is really bad.

My medium term investment shares without long term investments are at 9.5% loss and full PF is at 12% loss.

NB: I consider my long term counter (CTEA) separately because of liquidity and I prefer to see it's down to increase my stake.

Mine will be little more than Kalums , I dont trade and most of the stocks are fundamentally strong except for CSD which I bought for asset play, hope its not a mistake. I have been around for a while now and still learning and feel that still we should collect more fundamentally strong GROWTH shares. Please note growth . collect slowly as I have said many times. Market has to turn some day , I am not a predictor but it will and may take 6 months 1 year or 02 years or so but it will turn. This has happened many times in the past look at the history.

CTEA is a fantastic one Tiger what were your reasons to buy. This is the only company to take a true sri Lankan brand abroad. They are suffering due to the world crisis but when and if it becomes a bit normal sky is the limit for them. They are number 1 tea brand in Aussie.

I prefer to keep the reasons under warp for the moment. However I have been told by some high level persons in the stock brokering industry to sell this share, contravening their advice I am collecting this. Only time will tell whether I am a Tiger or a Donkey.

mine it is around 32 % (unrealized) , but never been lost ( except one time in life so far/ I brought DFCC @ 210 and sold 195 ), If market continually going down like this I will consider my PF as a medium to long term FD , no further investment until things get back king

I learned to how to be patient as I am working abroad

coz ,lesser / limited time to response Wink
