Impressive indeed. If you bought 100 LDEV today for 5,000 you will have to fork out another 37,500 to exercise your rights. Mighty impressive.

If you want to invest in a real construction company wait for access engineering around May.
http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t1641-construction-giant-s-ipo-access-engineering
If you want to invest in plantations check out the plantation sector.
If you want to give away your money every time the family of directors demand from you check out CFLB / Lankem stocks.

6.9 issued capital just like KAPI b4 capitalization... What is the purpose of the rights issue.. Retire debt, working capital, buy subsidiaries at an overvalued price. ....... NO...no..noooooo... Lankem group will have to subscribe to 51% of the rights to keep control.. So investor exposure is less than half..

Pupose of the rights issue is to Invest in a plantation company.. To take the controlling stake of agarapatna, Not like SMLL, CSD or CSF...... Wapoooooo...
Rubber plantation..
Jim Rogers says crude is usd150...what it means..
Natural rubber is going to hit sky high.... kotagala n agarapatana..n horana..
Lankem directors are too old ..n investors make the best deal. Becos the market is smart.. Who said it..... MC.

Yeah, you can take up just a hundred or not at all. But then how are you going to make the money that you lose when the share price goes down due to XR price adjustment. If share is 50, the XR price will be 26.60

Is it the reason for CFLB share prices started to go up. Where as SMLL,SEYB,CSD and CSF prices came down. Needs further clarifications please.

They issue this to buy Agarapathana plantations which is again owned by LCEY, then this LDEV is also a subsidiary of LCEY so this is a minority shareholders taken on a ride to pay over 1.3 billion rupees for an intra-company transfer?

My question is are we that fool?????

Being a minority shareholder in LCEY/CFLB is all abt rights issues (i.e MARA) these days.. This actually dilutes the interest we have in mother companies too..

And again this 15:1 is too much isn't it?
