What do you think? Most finance companies went up... I feel SFIN also will get a run soon... Currently not holding but have some thoughts to buy... Your valuable ideas ???

SFIN is edging up... I bought this at 12.50
But, I had qty bought @ 40.00
Average is still high...

This is good company, solid business model. Good franchise value, will give good dividend too

that is how I heard but didn't..... Sad

My averaged price is Rs.22. Holding sometime without disposing at loss. Waiting for break even level after covering interest accrued.

at 15 the market cap is 2.5b .... only a fool would take this on fundamentals when CDB is N and X together makes a market cap of 2.2b. CDB is bigger and more profitable.

at 40 ... well Razz

The Company’s Subsidiary Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC, had increased revenue of 17.5% although Net Profit reduced by 22%.

Singer Fin lanka : Before Tax I see 9 Million increase from last year. Is the tax so big reduce net profit by 22%?

Btw, Dec EPS calculation seems wrong. They have not accounted for increase in shares.

apart from high tax by looking at the qtr report they have done well.
