CHEVRON                                          9,772

ACCESS ENG SL                                68,000

LAUGFS GAS                                     15,000

Every day more than 90% of the LLUB shares that traded are purchased by the foreigners.

What is the real reason behind that? I think locals have no clear idea about it.

LLUB- Looks like they are keen to buy already known international brands (at any cost).

Yeh they mopped up Rs 280 levels nicely. Then came to Rs 285 levels and finish off it. Slowly came to Rs 290 levels. waited for couple of days and jumped to Rs 295 range. took every thing there. slowly but surely touched Rs 300 mark and rested couple of days in that level. Then jumped to Rs 305 level took every thing. some days well above 100,000 shares traded.

Then moved to Rs 310 levels. very nice to see it. mopped up every thing and slowly moved to Rs 315 levels and now trading at Rs 315 range. Even at this range close to 500,000 shares traded now. Its drying off now.

This is purely foreign buying and locals are selling. This will touch Rs 320 levels very soon. Nothing to panic. No sensitive to ASI movements. A lonely trip that LLUB is going towards Rs 400 levels.

Mind u at Rs 315 they already declared Rs 3.0 dividend as well. In other words just to motivate the buyers a small gift from the company.

Just see the journey  in the year 2013 ........

TJL (Brandix) is one those stocks that everyone should have - brilliant share and with the ruppee devaluation, profits will move up

LLUB has the same trading pattern of CTC and NEST. Both had high foreign interest when the prices were little high.

Last two months foreign holding increased by around 1.1 Million shares to 73.2 Million. Issued quantity around 1,955 Million. Less than 4% FH.

sahan red bull is right.  even though foreign buying is at EXPO, their holding is very minimal when compared to LLUB foreign holding. That may be the reason.

Balanced views - Don't try to push LLUB. This is not for traders right. I saw u try so hard to push CSD. But don't expect a retail rally here.

Wasatch recently entered Nestle, Combank and LLUB. They are targeting one brewery company in Sri Lanka.

At least I give reasons as to why I think CSD is good - LLUB will move up cos of foreign buying only. So no point pushing it here
