Gross domestic product across the 17-nation eurozone grew by 0.3% in the second quarter, according to official estimates released Wednesday. That's the first time the region has grown since the third quarter of 2011, and compares with a decline of 0.3% in the first quarter of 2013.

May sound good as eurozone is our largest export market.

Good news for our market or a mixed bag? The picture is much more complex.

Europe and US coming out of recession implies US monetary stimulus will ease.
Today wall street has been red as US $ bond yields have moved up a tick.
Will this result in foreigners moving out of Sri Lanka T Bonds?
If so, govt will have to let interest rates drift up again or let the rupee depreciate. Impact on the market?
Also a lot of the countries loans are commercial loans based on LIBOR plus a percentage. Impact on govt finances?

These are some of the questions.

Europe coming out of recession is certainly good for certain companies. But will the share move up in a sluggish market?
