Sorry I cant say about the price due to the reasons I have noted above. They have money from debenture issue.they must be using it to settle some of their debut to reduce interest cost and rest may go to expansion. So future is good for them I think

RICH is a special share. Specially since it does not have too much politics involved. But it is also slow moving due to too many shares in the market ( they split RICH into 15 share few years ago!).

They used to give 2 dividend during good times but they have cut down the days.

RICH true potential will come when plantation are in boom. Until such time RICH will report decent profit but nothing amazing.

When going for long term, pick shares that are prone to lesser right issues.
RICH is one like that.

Summary :
Yes RICH is good long term share. But there maybe a capital gain opportunity cost .If you are collecting, do not buy a whole lot. Collect in small parcels until you see a big trend forming ( very big push with volume) so it will run.

As past history I remember this ran to Rs 16 in 2011( all time high). It can pass that only when all of it sectors are performing. I recall RICH tried to venture into education and also Oil palm abroad. I think these are not finalized.

But when many things click RICH can beat Rs 16 again . But there can be a wait.

So don't put all your money into it at one go.

Hi Slstock,

Last year Dr.Yaddehige has purchased 25.6 million shares for 3.08 Rupees ESOP shares. So may be other employees. it will be a huge lot if thrown to market.

Please correct me if I am wrong here.May be I read it wrong about ESOP if they can't be traded .

Rich 12month end earnings are up
2013/2014 - 0.72 Dividend - 0.45
2014/2015 - 0.82 Dividend - 0.25 only.

Feel another approx. 30 cents dividend is near by.............
