Mar 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of a committee to hear the grievances of the low-income families relocated from the capital of Colombo by the Urban Development Authority under the previous government.

The request to appoint a committee was made by the Minister Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage to review the aspects pertaining to the relocation of families in underserved settlement within the City of Colombo undertaken by the Urban Development Authority.
