Let me live in my dream world and think.....

1. A diversified group must have a 30+ P/E value. Otherwise we must need to take the number towards 30 by continuously buying shares..
2. We can simply change the weather by pressing button on the remote control.
3. X company has Y number of projects/ plans in the future so we must buy shares in well advance to avoid the last minute rush.
4. P/E value must be at least 25 or more.
5. All the manipulators (professional traders?) are prosecuted.
6. In the market it is normal to pay Rs 1000+ per share and not getting a penny back as dividends
7. Even a company is getting at least 70% profits from a single source we still can categorise it as a diversified company
8. Foreigners are coming back to the market because it is sooo attractive.

I spend days on end travelling sri lanka, fishing, with a crate of carlsberg and of course someone for company and enjoy my profit.

Add this one to your dreams.

What makes you think that bears are not making any money in this market? I haven't had a net loss for any single month since the market started heading south on the first week of october. Bet the same applies for UKBoy and Duke

Carolis, trading is always a risk return trade off. UKboy doesn't like taking risks. So in the short term he will gain less but will also stand to loose less. Some people are more adventurous.

We need what we called risk control. I too never had a net loss since October. Every month since I'm having significant positive gain. All attributed to my risk control strategy. But I'm a looser in case of GRAN.

Well if you look at the prices now and some times back i could have earned huge profits if i sold them when they were peak, still i didn't encounter any loss, i could have sold my JKH at 360/=, NDB at 415/= RICH at 16/=, Glass at 13/= etc etc, since most of my shares in my PF was there for years i didn't incur losses.

If i am not mistaken most of them got fed up because still somebody is expecting the same % of growth which was there during 2009 & 2010, but i don't think so.

Also when you do the short term trading be careful because even a month or 2 profit, could have been easily get wipe off in seconds

Gaja nothing personal man. Losing realized money is more painful than unrealized one for me. My hard work is inside there.

Well well well Carolis... Try to get my point. I dont say these companies are bad counters. All I want to say that we dont need to buy shares well in advance. Unless the it has very low P/E value

I may have not seen things like you at CSE. But my only wish is CSE will not become another Bangladesh type stock market. I have seen so many people bought shares at peak and then start moaning about the market.
Few years ago whole this market had very reasonable growth. But since 2009 everything has changed. Whole market looks like a broiler chicken. This whole market badly needs some stability before it goes to the next level.
It is same for HAYL, JKH, RICH, CARS etc. ..

Do you think JKH attractive at Rs 300? Or HAYL at Rs 400? CARS Rs 630. It is up to you to decide.

People buying BUKI shares well over Rs 1100 & still dont not get a penny back as dividend. That is crazy.
Dividends is not something you need to consider when you are buying shares but it is a key performance indicator.

I like to see people making profits from the market. I'm not that evil.

If foreigners come to this market they will mainly check that biggest companies. But do you think any of our biggest companies are attractive to them? Unless they are blind they will not come and buy these shares.
Again we can live without foreigners but it shows how healthy the market is..

All the best.
