The plan was clear, Ranil was the prime minister, he planned to kill Sirisena and become president, under the 19th amendment everybody thought presidential powers reduced, but what actually happened is increase of executive powers, here even the supreme court didnt see this because this clause was not presented to court before passing in parliament, now the ambuiguity is so much that even supreme court can not give verdict, if a verdict given , this will set precedence and all the other verdicts will follow this, in that case a president can dissolve parliament twice a month, the 19th amendemnt brought by jadapalana put entire country in anarchy, here ultimate aim was ranil to remain in power being immortal

SC suspends dissolution of Parliament...
November 13, 2018

Supporters of the United National Party (UNP) gathered outside the court complex in Colombo on Tuesday (13) evening cheer the Supreme Court’s decision on the petitions filed challenging the dissolution of the Parliament.
The court issued an interim order suspending the Gazette notification issued by the President to dissolve Parliament and calling for fresh polls, until December 07.
Politicians of the UNP and members of the alliance (UNF) spoke to media following the court’s decision.

Don't jump the gun. Final decision is fixed for next month, probably before a full bench of the
SC. Was their a floor test when RW was appointed as PM by MS with only around 40 UNP MPs in parliament?
So, MR will continue as PM, and in my opinion MS only tried his best to avoid chaos in & outside the Parliament. Finally the decision to dissolve may go for a referendum.
Don't you think an "All island peoples test" is better than a "floor test" at a time of constitutional crisis. In Sri Lanka Sovereignty is in the people and it is inalienable and at a time of constitutional crisis the people should be allowed to have their say, failing which one cannot rule out an unprecedented chaos & turmoil in the country especially at a time when the UNP govt is extremely unpopular.

Did any budget or paper defeated in parliament when UNP was having 40 MPs...So don't compare that situation now..

We Srilankan should respect Rule of law.So UNP is as usual ready to face election in 2020.You people could contest at that time.

:) :) :)
There is a clear ambiguity in the 19th amendment to the constitution created by the UNP govt & now it is  confirmed by the SC postponing the final decision for next month. If it was straight forward then the SC would have given its final ruling yesterday itself. So, remember the decision is hanging in the balance. So, you can expect an early general election and the UNP will be forced to face it.

TRUMP CARDS IN ACTION:
Chances are that there will be a referendum first and obviously a general election will follow. Once the date for referendum is announced the share market is bound to go up, as we all know the outcome of both. Finally MS will emerge victorious and we will be able to see a vibrant share market which is the aspiration of all investors.

Plan was clear
Plan was clear, The 19th amendment was brought in to give more power parliament, but the Ranil and bond scam guys got together and inserted 32b clause in hiding after the amendment was released from supreme court recommending a 2/3 majority and referendum for ranil to be eternal president of sri lanka, as his uncle yankee dickie posponed elections for 12 years in 1983 ranil also habitually undemocratic did the secret change in constitution aiming to kill my3 after 3 years and become president forever, he knew the two parties would not go together,
but my3 upon revelation of shooting conspiracy involving SDIG Nalaka took the first step before ranil, and removed him from prime ministership, but western colonialists are with ranil as he is the modern don juan and we all know mahinda never listens to west,
ranil remains in the temple trees to date with support of us embassy right in front of temple trees, but in front of people ranil is the joke of the century,
The supreme court yesterday had no choice only thing they couldnt believe their eyes with regard to clause 32b as it allows president to dissolve parliament twice a day if it is there
Today autocratic mad man karu the kamkaru behaved shamelessly, all pre-planned with colonial forces eventhough it is very clear he cannot even convene the parliament,

Future of UNP+TNA+JVP+SLMC
They with western support definitely demand for federal state and with that wars ongoing between different federal states, under unp there will not be elections for 100s of years and western guys would not even say hmm against this as unp with ranil is foot lickers of west

The responsibility
The entire turmoil happened becuase the 6.2million idiots voted for my3 and ranil and allowed undemocratic appointment of ranil on the eve of 16th january, chased mohan pieris cj undemocratically and brought in the thief cj shirani and reinstated and replaced again with sri pavan, so the 6.2million idiots need to understand entire episod occured due to their burning hatred against mahinda rajapaksa the hatred was aroused by west after doing a survey on our people and finding that our people are dependency minded, not willing to stand up on our own and lazy, also 6.2 million supported 19th amendment out of hatred towards single person, now its bit late but even idiots can become intelligent, dont vote or decide things based on personal hatred, now that 6.2 million did it and suffering heavily

The solution
Now the show time has passed and parliament will not come to peace, the only solution is to go to people and supreme court has no power over executive prsident and legislature, without putting supreme court in utter shame, parlimentarians needs to understand they in the trap conspirated by ranil, if they identify this they may realise that they need to scrap 19th amendment to reduce power of president, anyway 19th amendement has been unconstitutionally passed as it was not referred to supreme court after the insertion of clause 32b with additional power to president, the scrapping of the 19th amendment is the one and only solution and better if it done before a general election as new prime minister whoever elected will have to ask president everyday " sir, are you going to dissolve parliament today and request " pls dont"

Basically there is a constitutional crisis. According to the constitution the President has the power to appoint PM irrespective of whether he or she commands majority in the parliament. So, President appointed MR like how he appointed RW following the presidential election. Now if the UNP is in disagreement with the appointment they could defeat the vote on account/budget of MR's govt without leading the country to turmoil.

That is why NCM was brought up and the MR is defeated.

As citizen of  Sri Lanka, you are bound to know the law of the land and you are not permitted to say that you do not know the law.

The speaker convened the parliament illegally as he is mired by the winds of politics of Indian ocean. He needs to think that law is above all and executive president is above parliament.

The 19th amendement conspirated by your Ranil to remain in power forever has created this situation, and your clan has to admit the mistake and correct it asap. Otherwise future prresidents will dissolve parliament twice a month

The root cause of the present crisis is the ambiguities in the 19th amendment. At a time when such constitutional crisis reaches a deadlock only people can resolve it. This cannot be resolved by the legislature and may be not even by the SC. This has to be resolved by the 'People's Court' at a general election. The new govt then had to remedy these ambiguities in order to define powers clearly.
The NCM is not the solution and speaker who in the process acted as a 'Hitler' had exposed himself to the world that he is not even fit to be the 'Butler' of the house (parliament).

As per clause 32b president can dissolve parliament on an hourly basis, the delay is to sign and print the gazzete otherwise every second he can do it, see what 6.2million idiots have done to this country with 19th amendment, obata theruanada oba kala paw duradiga nobala?

On the other day supreme court judges were basically flabbergasted by this clause? what the hell is this they asked.
