is it illegal to trade US futures indexes in Sri Lanka. is there any discussions about that in here?

Trading is not illegal, but SEC doesnt allow any broker firm to do marketing for foreign markets. Personally i trade 4 markets. SEC can not catch me as im a residence visa holder there. Also i have my bank accounts for buying and selling

@Suranga, You can use https://www.ustocktrade.com/lk/

Go to Sampath Bank and they will help you. (You better to go Sampath Bank WTC)

Unfortunately you need USD RFC or NRFC account.

See the Apple growth .i baught 105$ per share. Today 298$.
And 70% additional gain due to rupee depreciation .

@Teller that time my thought was AAPL not much potential... but i was wrong..

BTW, Can we transfer (or fund) overseas brokers accounts via banks in SL? or do we have to get special permission from central bank?
