It is all about supply and demand.. land price will come down too.. normally gold is the best solution but in Sri Lanka we don't have gold accounts in banks I guess

There are so many scenarios to think . Money became just papers now . What ever you desire , its difficult to buy now. What ever you deserve you have to buy at the moment. In simply this artificial money is nothing . But we want money.
Its better to diversify your assets. Fixed deposits can be dangerous with in a bank , rupee depreciation is another issue. What my opinion , buy a larger scale land and cultivate day to day food items . Or buy a coconut land 2-3 acre and cultivate secondary plants such as banana, vegetable and some. In simply IRR and pay back is high on these investments. Investing in food business makes less risk.

corona is not that dangerous as more than 80% recover from it. this situation will have
controlled by end of April. just look at China Japan and South Korea. if they can rest of the world can too. just don't panic.

Hi Teller,
Thank you for your reply.
I was also thinking about buy a land. But unfortunately I can not spend time for cultivation because I am in abroad AD.
What is your opinion if I invest in Sri Lankan Share market?
Thanks,

Currently keep your cash in hand in forms of Foreign currencies. Once 1 usd = 210, touch at least 10% of listed companies . 90% of CSE listed companies are shits. Also dont do any FDs in this situation . So many finance companies may not run now. Even public misuse the finance companies especially repayments. So very bad time for bank and finance industry.
