UBC many brokers were recommending I got caught in the 16 range and exited at 15 and entered once again in the 13 range.
Any news and can someone enlighten me on why UBC is being promoted?
It has gone beyond the covid dip price as well. Please help me out regarding UBC

I traded UBC a few times when it was around 9 - 11, I don't see much potential for the share to break 16 in short term.

Small bank like UBC can merge with big banks or financial companies.
This is positive for UBC, but don’t know exactly when this going to happen for UBC. Some other banks and financial companies already announced.

Brokers are pushing UBC since it is the cheapest commercial bank out there. Unless it gets taken over by another big bank the share price won't go up. And even if it does, the price will be pushed down before the take over.

I owned it from the 10LKR range and got out at 15. Was quite happy with myself. Invest your money in something with better fundamentals at that price range.
