Who would have thought that NIFL would go up to 700/=.and no official announcement was there from CSE for such a price hike.it seems same thing happening for CLC.

I thought the appreciation has to do something with new published in January in newspapers

According to them, the new company would be named as LOLC Ceylon Holdings Limited and would go for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) once it is formed,

The stakes in three companies under LOLC Holdings would be transferred to the new entity. The move is expected to attract  large- scale foreign investors to support LOLC companies to grow even further.

Some news had been driving the LOLC group shares. Either BILs involvement in PORTCITY, or they acquire something or a new strategy like above 


PB Jayasundera in a Sunday Times article statement tweeted recently highlighting
" China to start building 3 out of 5 towers in the Port City in Sep...."


Lets see what the volumes traded yesterday has to show today in LOFC and CLC. I think breaking some more levels

Anybody seen a renewed buying interest on CLC specially when it hit 20 and quickly bounce back to 22+ range. CLC might give more opportunities in coming Monday.
