KHL break its biggest resistance at 12.30 - 12.50. Now KHL trading 5% above the resistance level. Watch out hotel sector shares. With the tourism reopen, rupee devaluation, vaccination success and possible debt relieves on the sector by new CB governor , it is possible to have a momentum on this sector

EDEN: Barcelo Team arriving 20/9
1). Speculation that EDEN has negotiated several operational hotel properties, will acquire them in partnership with Barcelo
2). Speculation on Mt Lavinia Hotel too
3). Barcelo is very aggressive in their Asian regional rollout. LOLC relationship is key( through EDEN)
4).Barcelo considers Sri Lanka as their Asian HQ (owners like the country as well)
5). Bigger plan for Sri Lanka, planing for more hotel acquisitions/ management
6). Barcelo invests in upgrading properties ( around 30% investment) & manage them
7). Barcelo can fill up the hotels with their strong network

. Number of Rooms , very close to KHL & AHUN, but EDEN hotels will be the only chain to be managed by an international brand such as Barcelo making a big difference
9). EDEN’s flagship property in Maldives will be ready by end of 2022, when the global tourism resumes
10). With all future acquisitions, EDEN will be bigger than KHL & AHUN both in SL and Maldives.
11). All hotels are depressed , EDEN backed by LOLC has accessed to LT funding (ref LOLC AR for funding agencies) to new acquisitions
12). Time to buy good hotels, vaccination reached critical level of 50% today, will reach 70% by Oct/21
