Dear members,

Market is fully manipulated and according to my analysis the manipulation is not over.
Economy and market is having inverse relationship.

My advise;
I see the next rally is plantation. Trade illiquid shares of plantation companies. X2 possible in these stocks.
Do not invest, only trade. Because market is 100% played by few sharks. Trade carefully.

Appreciate your piece of advise Maharaja, could you tell me your idea about LOFC

LOLC,BIL,NIFL,LOFC,CLC all done by one firm. Rumor - LOLC to 1000 (no fundamentals to support this) But just like market, manipulation can take it to 1000. In this moment LOFC should also move. But do not invest and hold. Only trade.

Invest in Dhammila's shares, EXPO, and Ishara's when the market is falling. The market will boom with these shares again. in between relax, have a cup of coffee, read a novel, watch a movie, take a nap just past few months patiently Very Happy

Keep an eye on plantation sector. EXPO can rest for a little time and give small counters to rally. In this market most return is in Illiquid shares ex: NIFL

Dear members,

With the tourists coming in with dollars. Government already is talking about vehicle imports.

Import controls are coming to an end.

Fertilizer will be again imported.
With this news Plantations will start a rally.

Collect some counters. Just like STAF and PALM, plantation stocks shall start its own rally.

Don’t panic collect slowly while counters are not moving up.

I am seeing Imtias tweet highlighted here to validate the plantation run.

when there is high demand and when supply is less, the price at the Tea Auction for a particular grade in demand would go up. When Tea prices in International market not moving and suddenly tea auction for a grade moves up we can guess that there is a shortage in production of that grade.

I hear that most of the daily waged plantation workers are moving to other work, due to COVID 19 spread and small holders and private plantations have refrained from hiring people. Then I hear the affects of lack of fertiliser in plantation. So out put has to fall this Qtr and pick up heavily from next

Our local auction price is not an indicator for Tea Industry performance. Its artificially driven sometimes. and most of the times Tea Exporters are desperate these days for orders, and when they receive an order they try to keep the customer happy even at a loss for future business.

The order conformation process is a lengthy one for traditional exporters...Prepare Proforma on estimated costs, confirm order, then goes to the auction. This process almost takes a month for the customer to confirm, then the exporter obtains a Packing Credit Loan when they dont have money , then goes to the Auction..By this time Auction price sent up..But things are different for Stassen and Akbar, Dilmah... Thats why they are the leaders

Now lets see who drove the market price recently. Few of them work heavily on borrowings. So no option but to send the price up
The specified teas were sold by Bartleet Produce Marketing (Pvt.) Ltd and purchased by Imperial Teas (Pvt.) Ltd, Shan Teas (Pvt.) Ltd, Vintage Tea (Cey) (Pvt.) Ltd and Ceylon Tea Land (Pvt.) Ltd, respectively. News article in FT

Now with these guys sending up the Auction price for OP grade doesnt means Tea Plantation is doing well...

It is the same for Rubber. Go and talk to a medium sized rubber product exporter, he will reveal you that DPs plantations + few others keeping the price at certain level artificially at auction.

Its always works on ratio for Plantation and Exporters

The more the plantation profits ( Sale) = the high the Tea Exporter looses ( Cost of Sale)
But people like DP knows where to and how to strike a balance in his portfolio

These days markets are run by retail trades.. and when the Foreigners & Foreign Funds are ready to come in dont expect them to come at this levels. Brokers will crash the market to bring them in

Greed and Panic will drive the market until that

CLC LOFC I think now too risky to touch.

Target plantations with small free float. These shall jump 10%-20% in short period.
Some of these are still being collected.

ELPL, NAMU, UDPL, TPL, BOPL
