If EPF is forced to invest in CSE, EPF members (benifitiaries )should protest against that. EPF holds 15 billion plus unrealized losses or may be more by investing in CSE. During last era shares like GRAN, LGL ,etc were dumped to EPF.

UNP wanted pauper economy for SL. Whose agenda was being implemented while looting the country (bond scam).

They came to power to arrest bond scammers, why there is no action against them? As public, we expect these funds to recover from scammers as promised in last election

yeah.. if EPF invest in CSE they should not invest in shitty shares like Laugfs as before..
hope government will not play with innocent peoples money this time..

also government must show that they have integrity and keep their promises by catching those UNP bond thieves as promised..
what i believe is people lost the trust in CSE because they doubt mahinda will play with sri lankan peoples lives again and invest in such an economy will be a disaster...when people feels not safe about the economy they do panic selling (especially foreign investors)..

we need big investors in cse not some pump and dumping thieves.. all this time cse ran by traders..
we cant expect a proper bull run without big investing firms..

i admire Gota and I voted for him in presidential election but if he allows Mahinda to do some lame things as he did before i dont think not only CSE but also sri lankan economy will ever recover..

I truly wish Gota + Mahinda combination will do something good for the country...

I will look this year and if economy is going down turn i will bring my entire portfolio to Nasdaq...

Epf Now have a Investment policy and a committee unlike earlier so they cant invest anything and also in any shares they wish.. They had made very good gains even 50% from 2019 June Investments, Central Banks Governer reported. So its safe now and pity EPF not utilise this golden opportunity for their members. Infact Dubious investments of EPF money has happened in MR regime 2010-15 so ideally those should be punished... But lets not expect unrealistic things... UNF could have done it, but they also did very little and were also controlled by corrupt ultimately.

MR idea about not privatising is very negative aspect of this Govt, but they have a ability to deliver things..than UNF. So things will happen though we dont agree 100%. They can move the market in good or bad... But they seem to have learned some lessons..
