Dear Team,

I would likento know the best broker in SL. I have a account with Asia Capital but I am very disappointed with their support. I am thinking to move my account to another broker who can provide me good support.

Some advice...

A broker firm and the Adviser are two separate things.
There can be an excellent Adviser is a useless firm. Or a excellent firm can have a useless Adviser.

You should always select the Firm with the best technology and customer commitment and stability. Then pick a good adviser in that firm.

Relating to my personal experience
I choose ASIA because
- It has CDAX and DirectFN, free
- was closer to my work place
- most of my friends were in it

But initially i got a terrible Adviser.
- The fellow didn't even give me his mobile contact
- Was never reachable on the land line
- Did not respond to emails
- and had "no-idea" about any thing in the market
- The only interaction i had with this guy was him force selling a large chunk of stock 2 years ago ( before all this t+5 was taken seriously)

I am sure the Adviser was over burdened or had too many things to manage. But that is not my concern.

So i changed to another new Adviser in the same firm. Now i can get mkt updates just from a phone call or SMS, get notice about any forces selling etc and I am pretty much happy.

Few points in choosing an Adviser it
- Don't go for the best, they are just too busy and not bothered.
- Build a relationship. If they are not willing, that may not be the proper Adviser for you

Pawn Broker - never lies to client as he need to lend more & gain more interest Very Happy

Marriage Broker - always lies to both sides at same time so both sides lose...

Stock Broker - always lies to clients & grab the 1.25% to his employer, so you lose he wins... Very Happy

Now for sure you will prefer the pawn or marriage broker above the Stock one... Laughing

If u r seeking for investment advise through any SL brokerages for your trades, then do not invest. You will be bankrupt in few months. Brokerages are to deposit/withdrawal of your cash and to get market updates everyday through email.
If you expect more than this, you might find trouble with your investment.
My advise is go to any broker having below criteria;

1. Provides DirectFN client tools for trades
2. Have a friend who is an adviser in the brokerage
3. Adviser is not handling BIG clients

From ur side, always speak as if you have lot of cash to invest but waiting for the right time, even though u have nothing.

even though there is no online trading given, CT smith is the best for me.

Dont depend on brokers. Just do your own study and buy sell using CDAX or DFN.

i hardly contact them only when i need to " spread butter " to him about credit Lol. Nice fellow never force me to sell.
But advice NO.

the facts you should consider

the online facility...
is it easy to deposit and withdraw using net facility ( if you are abroad )

mm that is all i guess.

Actually my adviser is ok. Easily I can contact him.
But the only problem is their Damned, poor online trading system..

My account is with JBS. Their online system is customer friendly and rarely get upset. Regarding advice same as most of other Brokers.Very Poor.Accounts maintaining is also good. No headache.They have their owm company for credit facility and their service is excelent.
