Hi to Everyone

Shall we identify a value generating company as per Value Investing Strategy?
The Global economy is changing and CSE has lots of opportunities to grab from downward economy in the west.. Simply for example I would say Oil prices are coming down day by day and what are the companies at CSE going to benefit from the reduced oil prices and how are they goin to capitalize this opportunity? what are the companies have historical track record of capitalizing this opportunity? what is the company has the best balance sheet??

If we can answer few question like this and more similar question from other members we can definitely identify a value gem rather than playing Hide and Seek games which are played in these interenet based investment forums!!!

Its so nice to meet a person interested in value investing - I thought I was the only one in this forum Very Happy

I agree that there are many stocks that are fundamentally sound in the CSE

- However I do think that oil prices may RISE during the winter it all depends on oil stocks and severity of the winter. Rubber prices may also follow oil prices up - especially is planned cartel action by rubber exporting countries is successful.

LLUB is a stock that may benefit from low oil prices as oil is a key raw material. LIOC may also benefit to a lesser extent.

As everyone are hoping for a bull run in Fundamentally strong counters in the upcoming season and also the corporate earnings will released to the market. If the corporate results are fine then in return the market PER may come down further down and fundamentally strong stocks may become more attractive and undervalue. This is a High time we need to find a real value gem.

In my point of view when oil prices declines all kind of energy cost will also come down... This will make some short term or medium term advantage on thier cost of production for shares such as GLAS, LGL. LLUB is a good pick from Lankanbusiness. We all need to analyse LLUB before making any comment here.. The people who has strong knowledge in LLUB are welcome prsent their point of view... Some shares will have positive correlation with thier EPS and Oil Prices. I could be able to observe a sharp reduction in oil prices from July 2011. This will give a better advantage for some counters in this or next quarter results.

LGL has produced its performance as I predicted on 29/09/2011... End of the day the company who has real value will be the winnerrs... LGL was trading around LKR 40/- and there were very much less buyers are intrested in it... I saw today there were many people chasing LGL very hardly.. It was like getting into the train which is running, You may break your leg or you may get into the train... But too risky.. Lets see wat my other counters will produce me in the future... Be patient and you will be the winners....
