Sri Lanka Odel plans new stores as first half profits rise

පසුගිය කාලයේදී මෙරට ඇඟලුම් ඇතුළු විලාසිතා භාණ්ඩ අලෙවි ශාඛා රැසක් ආරම්භ කළ මෙරට ප්‍රකට විලාසිතාගාරයක් වන ඔඩෙල් සමාගම් සමූහයේ නවතම ගිණුම් වාර්තා ගැන තොරතුරු හෙළිවෙයි.

මේ අනුව, සමාගම් සමූහය පවසා තිබෙන්නේ 2011 සැප්තැම්බර් 30 අවසන් වන මාස 06 තුළදී සමාගමේ ශුද්ධ ලාභය සියයට 21 කින් වැඩිවී රුපියල් මිලියන 122 ක් වූ බවයි.

පැරණි ශාඛාවල හා නව ශාඛාවල අලෙවිය වැඩිවීම මෙසේ ලාභය වැඩිවීමට හේතුව බව මෙරට ප්‍රකට ව්‍යාපාරිකාවක වන ඔටාරා ගුණවර්ධන මහත්මියට වැඩි කොටස් ප්‍රමාණයක් හිමි ඔඩෙල් සමාගම් සමූහය සඳහන් කර ඇත.

ඔඩෙල්හි සමාරම්භකයා හා එහි වත්මන් ප්‍රධාන විධායක ධූරය දරන්නේ ඇයයි.

මේ වසරේ පළමු අර්ධයේදී සමාගමේ අලෙවිය සියයට 13 කින් වැඩිවී අලෙවි ආදායම රුපියල් බිලියන 1.7 ක්වී තිබෙන අතර කොටසකට අදාළ ලාභය ශත 74 ක සිට ශත 84 ක් දක්වා වැඩිවී ඇත.

මේ වසරේ මුල් අර්ධයේ ගිණුම් වාර්තා වලින් හෙළිවන්නේ මේ කාලයේදී සමාගමේ මූල්‍ය හා බෙදාහැරීමේ වියදම් විශාල වශයෙන් ඉහළ ගොස් තිබෙන බව වන අතර මූල්‍ය වියදම් සියයට 53 කින් ඉහළ ගොස් රුපියල් මිලියන 45 ක්ද බෙදාහැරීමේ වියදම් සියයට 30 කින් ඉහළ ගොස් රුපියල් මිලියන 106 ක්ද වී තිබේ.

මේ වනවිට, සමාගම සතුව අලෙවි සැල් 16 ක් තිබෙන අතර තවත් අලෙවි සැල් තුනක් පමණ අළුතින් ආරම්භ කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇතිබව කියයි.

Otara inspire me very much. She began selling merchandise by loading those in to her car trunk and then traveling selling those items. What a nice start! Moreover, in the start, she sell merchandise to her friends and family members. I'm damn sure, she has got many criticism from them.

That's actually strategical thinking..

The top management push middle management for belt-tightening and big results then middle mgt push executive/supervisors more than that, then lower ends gets the punishments.. This is cuz every level try to score brownie points in today's dog-eat-dog world..otherwise climbing the corporate ladder seems an utter difficult task..

However the top mgt maintains a pass the buck to next level policy so they're always among the favourites.. They deal with the situations arise from lower levels pointing out the mistake done by their superiors and act like they're gonna resolve it, cuz they think of the lower levels Wink

Very true. It's something people don't see. Everywhere top guys act like their saints and get the middle managers and supervisors to get the dirty work done. Workers think it's the supervisors who are evil. But it's just that the supervisors are following the orders from the top.
