NAMAL taken over by UNION BANK from milford company. so better chance to NAMAL Share holdrs.

The FEB whole month ( 99%) the market is in upward trend so NAMAL Assets also should be up . So this time It will be more than 110/= . Their NAV announcement realeased 1st of MAR 12.00 pm even compare with last NAV value (110/=) NAMAL worth up to 100/= this time may be if it is good result then it worth more than 100/=

Only oneday to release their NAV.. SO NAMAL will be active in this two days .. So don't panic Union bank take over and NAV will be released in positive so NAMAL make a nice move..

what do u thing guys

How does that happen?

Really? look again at the share prices very closely. Only a few shares are trading significantly higher than the month open. At least half the counters are lower than the Feb 01 price.

Refer the recent announcement

********************************************
NATIONAL ASSET MANAGEMENT LIMITED(NAMAL)
We wish to inform that Milford Holdings (Pvt) Ltd ,transferred 5,100,000 shares
held by thenm in NAMAL to Union Bank of Colornbo Ltd, for a consideration of
Rs,331,500,000/-,

*************************************

transferred 5,100,000 shares
consideration ofRs,331,500,000/-,

whats the value of a share;
331,500,000/5,100,000 = 65/=

I think there is a bit of a confusion about the share transfer to union bank. As far as I can see, shares of NAMAL changed hands, not NAVF. Again as far as I can see there is no relevance of this to the holders of NAVF.U0000

As for the value of NAVF. I did a calculation yesterday based on the portfolio they have mentioned on the 31st Dec financial report. Based on that, the asset value is somewhere around 100/= meaning it should trade around 90 after discounting for 10% management fee. Note that these are based on what is on the financial report only, we dont have any confirmed details of the portfolio.

I hope they announce 110 NAV, but their correlation is mainly with B&F stocks. so without them going up hard to imagine a NAV of 110, Unless they had WAPO, BUKI, CARS in their portfolio. Does any one have NAVF protfolio? Cheers

DK
