ASI down by 86 points, MPI down by 58 points.
But the turnover exceeds 470M and volume over 13.3M.
All these happening within 1.5 hours.
JKH can't be the only contributor, it's volume is around 1.7M.
With the current trend, foreign purchases would have surpassed local purchases.
Could it be a strong exit of the local investors?

The far seeing wise people will come out victorious with patience. Until such time these depressing conditions can wipe out more and more.

It seems to be the stock collected by most of the Broker huts in the past ( we can say for their customer or manipulation what ever) coming out to the market. ( After the SEC notification)
Those who want to play they will be lucky.

what i learnt from a friend in a broker firm was there is a possibility that the introduction of delivery vs. payment system in the future and the broker firms are clearing credit. i was advised to clear my portfolio and stay away from the market. I think there is a move to wipe out the retailers, who buy on credit, from the market.

Panic selling will bring down the market further..

I am holding my shares.. I have an avg. 20% loss..

Buying on credit during the bear run is not advisable...

Yes Redbulls, it looks like the most probable reason for the market's down trend today.
May be SEC is trying to bring in regulations with good intention, but what's the end result? Small investors is being wiped out day by day. It's left for us to imagine their thinking powers/ignorance.

Do they need new regulations to act/punish the wrong doers eg: broker firm of the NSB/TFC deal? What action have they taken, nothing. Just to cover up things, now they are bringing in new legislation. They are simply not bothered of what happens to the market.

They are taking investors as the scapegoat. Very pathetic situation.

Don't find fault with anybody. Only thing that everybody should do is to buy for what you have extra savings. You will never loose. If you play with credit you will burn your finger as well as others body.

Yes, you are correct when we consider only about our self. I was commenting in general. There are different players in a market and it should be a fair place for everybody, only one category can't survive on it's own. It's the nature of our market that a minor change would cause big change in the market behavior.

Hence, very careful consideration needs to be put in, prior to any change.
It's due to their lack of understanding of the market behavior, all this turbulence is prevalent in the market.
