I think after a long time the whole world is celebrating the eid on the same day. I think after rizvi mufti at the head of jamiyathul ulema board, Muslims are having less confusion over the dates.

The Eid festival is celebrated following a month long of fasting from dawn to dusk refraining from food, water and not indulging on waste talk etc etc...also from sex during the fasting. so you abstain from or sacrifice these things in other words.

The fasting is not obligatory for sick and old people ...also for women in lactation or pregnant. Also if they are in their menses....

Those who are unable fast due to traveling long distance or women falling under above category should make up for the miss days.

It is better to recite the quran as much one can afford during their fasting and also pray the non obligatory prayers.

The above mostly covers.....everything.

I guess may be i miss few here and their.... Very Happy
