this could mean profits down marginally
looks the trends is reversing or CTC profits going to finally stagnant
this is not a growing business
very high valuation
should sell?

in this kind of business no future at all except introduction of considerable diversification .

This is the final dividend for 2012 and with this it has declared 10/= dividend which approx 14% yield

they have given dividend of 10, but yearly EPS is 9.94. How can this be possible?

more than 99% are owned by public, so who has the control? is it under goverment

Here public means something different.As I know this isn't liquid as you think.Remember went to 500+.Most shares are owned by island wide branches and as far as i know they are not in CDS accounts or tradable.High dividend is given to the benefit of the company itself.You can expect big number all the time. I think investors are more look into the COMPANY's performance..rather than other income.Because 'other income ' may not happen all the time. I think fundamental investor should focus on company's performance and forecast, rather than other source of income..
that's my view..

If talking about RENU company performance also not shabby. Placed decently valued in the sector. They expanded also recently.

I think main issue is they do not take care of minority as GAja said. Wehn you have billion cash reserve and only 7 million shares , you can afford to give atleast rs 10-15 dividend.

my bet is HVA,its still at 13 levels from 5800 to 6200 so a boom should be growling.
last time it went upto 20 from 13 levels.
