Not sure whether it is the best, but JINS (with a dividend yield of 8.55%) features on my list.

Yes JINS is a good pick - 10% at least per annum and worth in 10-11 range.
LLUB, CTC are constant dividend payers, 4 per annum.
PLC - 10% per annum at least going by the past. Worth @ 13 for dividend.

TJL - The new entrant with above 5% ratio.

LGL.X - last time it paid a dividend, at that price it was around 10% yield. Now 40% appreciation

Every year at least 4/= ..they will propose dividend date on their previous year end report ..it means 100% sure...

They have reserve so they can pay what ever they said

Friend JINS is a good pick, but when comparing the dividend yield coupled with the Capital Gain and ability to dispose anytime, i put my bet on LLUB

Did'nt you notice UML.N EPS 19/-Rs 2011/12 (3+6)

Already 2012/13 9 Months Ending EPS @ 19/- With 3Rs Interim & Final Expected Rs6/- or perhaps 7Rs to make double digits.

Very Happy

CMP trading below NAV of the company ....isnt that something how this company has managed to give better dividends than the rest in trying market conditions thanks to the SLGOVT.

Best dividend paying stock is Capital Maharaja followed by Divasa Capital pvt ltd. Some of the unit trusts pay 1/- with the unit price at 10-15

no no i am ....today i posted few charts on HPP for CSD.N holders ......

SEYB.X is on nice reversal HnS CMP of 35 is a good entry imo. for Rs 15 Target should it hold nicely in upcoming weeks..... Very Happy

For me NEST DY ( Bought in year 2005)
For the FY 2011 around 44%
For the FY 2012 27%+ waiting for the final

So calculating dividend yield in the current market price is absurt.
Go for the history of ROE,EPS,DP the decide what you need to do.

For an Investor seeking the Dividend Yield will go by todays Market Price as he will decide to invest in current market conditions....Since NEST has appreciated alot since it got listed , the newcomers would compare based on todays price.

At the same time i think what the new fellows should do is to go by NAV & EPS know .... Rolling Eyes
