CLPL warrents are trading at attractive levels. W13 reached a 52 week low yesterday. I know many people burned their fingers with warrents and many are scared to even touch them now.

Is it good to collect???

I saw many ppl following warrants,even those ppl don't know the conversion price n date.

Conversion rate for W13 is December 2014 and W14 is December 2015.. So still some time left before conversion. So we can play with these warrants.

I have no plans of holding this to convert. In that case all warrants listed right now should not have any value at all.

when you look at the conversion price W13 looks more attractive than the W14 and even W12.

Yesterday after some careful analysis I decided to buy CLPL.W14 in small chunks.. This was due to W14 to be listed in 2015 and we have plenty of time to judge on the share..
Unfortunately my order didnt execute at 2 Sad

so I'm gonna look today..

Truly, Rainmaker is correct abt the absolute value.. when N is at 60-65, both warrants have ZERO value.
However, I dont hope any one would say after a year passed by the W14 warrant wont appreciate 100% the least, rite? This can even happen in a shorter period of time.

As per December 2012 results;
Net Assets Per share (Rs.) - 88.21 (nearly 3.5% increased YOY)
EPS (9 months) - 2.31 (21% drop YOY
Number of shares - 34,233,774

Warrants;
25,000,000 x 2 warrant categories :
CLPL.W13, at an exercise price of Rs.118.- per share in year 2014.
CLPL.W14, at an exercise price of Rs.142.- per share in year 2015.

As the latest act, 4 directors including Mr. Heengama, resigned. But n o director sales disclosed yet.

I dont think this has much value fundamentally now, but trading opportunities can exist.

For me, most attractive and less risky warrant is REEF.W19 when considering two future projects (CITK and CITW), illiquidity of REEF.N, the sector in which REEF business falls and some players attached to the group (NP, DJ, TG and the Silva brother). But anyway, investing on warrants is a bet (actually bet on a bet).

Warrants are high risk and evenmore with speculatives.

But I think I have to agree with that the safer amongst the lot is REEf.W19 after looking at "possible" growth.

But then again , right now REEF.W19 has no value except time value.

That's correct.. But looking at the current scenario, a leverage is much needed. That's what, at least, I do having both warrants Wink

18% gain in one day, not enough volume though. Looks like I will have to wait for few days to collect this again.

I can remember once Slstock mentioned that forum posts sometimes does have a effect on the next day prices. Correct again

CLPL is not GREG

did you ever trade in CLPL?
did you check how price volatility occurs at some stages?
did you know who controls it price?

ayyo we are not fools to convert at 118,we only trading with care......

im trading this last 2 years continuously,im recording their day trades.(contra brokers of buyers and sellers)

*did you guys noticed 26 shares? this 26 share block is trading many times in last 12 months or more as i remember,the seller was always DSA

CLPL warrants will never be exercised. Even if you own all the warrants and exercise it you would not get control of the firm from ERI

In the mean time the fluctuation will be there. Like SUGA it will trade until the very end

You can lose a lot depending on what Mohottala does. I don't know of any players other than this guy. Perhaps you may know more

I'm referring to the CB guy. I think he's the big trader.

He is not in SL at the moment.

@Mark perhaps you can confirm the above if track the buyers and sellers.

most probably in TOP 20,may be director nominee

do you remember how Directors bought 150Mn worth CLPL N from foreigners when they getting ready to sell?
directors had to push the price to 93 by their other accounts to do that Smile
