There will be a time for any listed share. The game is to figure out which will move first.

High cap shares moved to also push the index these days.

Btw, out of your share LFIN should give dividend soon. LGL in june or july.
May move with the news. But someone is selling LFIN possibly due to worry of Gold situation.

A more widely spread portfolio.

You are everywhere.

Try to focus on few sectors and give more weight for sectors that are about to perform well. Try to figure out the immediate trend. Can you expect a mad bull from vehicle sector and finance companies that have high exposure to leasing and higher purchase? I don’t think.

There should be a reason for every purchase in your PF.

If you are thinking a share like ACME to go up, then you have to pray some big guy to come and manipulate it to higher price.

Shares like ACME, HVA etc can go after a huge collection or some big fish in top list is in desperate need to go out from the bail.

You will learn by experience friend. Try to figure out the mistake and learn from that. We all are still learning. That is why we all are here.

Last year LFIN gave a dividend of Rs 5/- in June. They have performed well during nine months ended 31-12-2012.

Just because a share has gone down doesn't mean it is cheap.
You have purchased shares which I'm trying to avoid.
You have 14 counters, but 7 of them are very much the same.
All those have the same chart pattern.
Having a lot of counters is not diversification.

By the way DIST is a good catch.

Of 5.6 million, he has put 3.8mn on NEST
I won't do that either... It's too risky to have such high exposure in any company that I don't manage, though NEST is extremely safe bet

NEST, LLUB, JKH are too high now.. And those are keeping index green too... all these large caps are used to manipulate index wherever needed imo..
Ppl sold these when they were 1200, 220 and 200.. Now see where these are? We're paying for premiums prices to buy these but will they fall?

But as Dileepa, if one has collected it way cheap and waited patiently, benefits are superb too..
