I feel sorry about the depositors who deposited their hard earned money. But i know Who ever earned it hard they wont deposit it in this form.
Secondly i feel who ever bought this share at around 4 and average it in to some where 2. I consider them as long term investors. Wish you good luck for them.
CIFL has a good future in this forum. But i do not know how their future in the financial sector in Sri Lanka. They may succeed in another planet or Galaxy. Not in the earth.
If you are worry about this company bocoz of your share pls do minimize you risk. Once i also received same msg from one of my good market friend. I must pay my sincere gratitude to him. I do not know whether he is watching this msg or not.
Play safe with some other share becoz there are many counters trading at their ever lowest...
Good luck

Not Suspended. It is a Price Band at Rs.1.00. Today CIFL can go maximum Price is Rs.1.00. That is a reason for huge buying at Rs.1.00 & 0.90. Now No sellers in Order Book.

I am out of this game mate...If you have already bought this at cheaper hold it or partly dispose when selling comes- in case if it get manipulated to two level. Don't buy at current level since price upper limit is sealed- because u can't identify any patterns. since no1 knows Aspic when they will dump rest of their 16 mn shares. But keep in ur mind u shd get out of this game as soon as possible with maximising profit.

Don't compare Seyb with CIFL. CIFL is utter crap whilst Seyb was good- many had confident at that time (2008). Their cause of loss was different. U can easily evaluate the seyb performance from revenue. Y CIFL revenue dramatically dropped?? All debtors ran away?? or sum 1 well planned to eat all cash?? Doesn't it smell something? Sum1 with 5 mn could push CIFL easily up. I am pretty sure it will cumdown..

IMHO the big players including CB officials wants to up the price, because if they want to convert deposits to shares in future (which is going to happen) they need to justify the depositors no?

End of the day depositors (future share holders) and the share holders are going to enjoy a interesting lesson (bitter) for their life time no?

Ur not supposed to hold crap.. This can go wherever the big ppl want it to be.. If some big boy comes to pump we can see this goin up to 2 or even 3 but it can happen after a fall even allowing the player to buy more under the guise of dumping...

U n I may not know what's cooking Evil or Very Mad

Anyways, just enjoy the small gain and satisfy..

Well,

I am afraid you are wrong. Pushing it to above 2.0 level seems impossible now. If he wants he should have pushed today since upper price ceiling was there and can be easily pushed. If his intention is pushing that level the manipulator would loose the game since more volume will be unloaded. If he needs volume then he should not be too hurry. Its obvious that he is dumping, mostly Aspic.. Just 11 mn-small retailer money is enough to push this up.

I don't think any retailer/big chap can play with CIFL. For me its dead. Over 87 cases had filled. 3.2 bn debt. Upon takeover every1 will take their money off. So sum1 need to pump at-least 5 bn and still not sure how they can succeed. Who will put their money? 5 bn is a big money. Even Dhammika himself wouldn't do. Then who else?
Anyways, just enjoy the small gain and satisfy..
That is big profit. Sum1 bought at 0.4-0.5 level its giving 100% return...

Jana1,
Anyone can play with CIFL if they have a lot of money to mess with.. But what u say is also possible and wonder why he didnt wanna go wit the upper limit.. May be these ppl tryin to dump some and bring the price down again to collect.
We never know as in those days if TWOD can go up when the court case was near why CIFL not when PLC is in the game?

Well.. revival is promised by PLC but who knows? D pere would not surely mess wit this since he has other fish to fry.. Some claim maloney has no money, then wat happened to their TWOD sales?

Hilarious things are happening around us and watch dog waits till the last moment to probe in.. Gosh!!!

@ Small,

I always look most pbms in a simple and rational way..

Yes. TWOD showed up upon court case, but if that mkt condition prevail CIFL would have passed even 4. 2013 mkt is so dull. So it can't happen.

At prevailing mkt I couldn't imagine sum1 will push down and buy back and push up. If he does so then he should push into 2.5-3 lvl and need to trade at that lvl atleast 2-3 months to get out  with profit. I dont think any manipulator would do that 1 in prevailing mkt as he will get more volume.

I remember ppl are talking about TWOD proceeds. Don't u rember LOLC pushed twod price from 5 to 8 in 2 days then dump maloney's qtys from 8-5 to settle his margin.. His entire fortune had gone..If he left with sum money he shd have bought house in Thailand since his legal action is due.

I am doubt CIFL drama by eithr Aspic or CT, no1 else...Let c...

@ Small, U r kidding ah.

Hypothetically assume u in Maloney position then u will realise. All his forestry business got bankrupt...

Upon bangkok office got closed last december he just turned up to SL and get rid of them. Becz he doesn't wanna pump money and his present interest is get rid of all investments in SL, since his court case investigation is due. He already escaped from Thailand where investigation was started. He perfectly knew what s gng to happen to him in case investigation suggest him to pay back certain portion of money he owed. So he can't held any valuable assets in SL or Bangkok. So under the table deal the existing bankok land was transferred to Dep. Perera (sum say 1 bn deal) and maloney has start up idea in new country where no tax legislation or proper system implemented...

This guy probably targeting country where buddhism exist, I guess sum1 wrongly interpreted to him what buddha said,  in my opinion. That s y he well played in Thailand and Sri Lanka. Now what is next country, with less legislation and buddhism exist..Wink That is Cambodia...( I am not sure about his dubai investment- there was a rumours). I guess Maloney currently in Cambodia...

(In my previous comment I said, he might have bought house in Thailand with money left. Not Thailand- somewhere else, Vietnam also other country he could target)
