Good future for the  tea plantations.

It is stated that Demand for African tea is being reduced due to the Ebola virus.

So in the future demand for Asian Tea(Sri Lankan,India) will be gone up.

Tea Plantation Companies especially UDPL,TAP,MASK,BOPL will be benefited.Out of those UDPL is the best with earnings,NAV,low public quantity.

Keep in touch.............

Valuepick what are your thoughts on HOPl.

I know there is a broker report targeting price of Rs.30 for ELPL. If I am correct they have some interest in Chinese tea market as well. They have strong management. Isn’t it?

Hopl also has strong management. I think this counter should pass Rs.30 initially. They also have some of the best quality tea in the world.

As this is a major uptrend it is very difficult to predict top for any stock. As I said before trend is up for this sector. On valuations plantations stocks should go up.

BTW I was able to pick few HAPU shares on Friday. It has one of the highest ROE in the sector. Good luck!

Hey Valuepick,
Does it means, we cannot expect more than Rs.30 on ELPL???

Valuepick,
What are your short term targets UDPL & HAPU?
Considering the volatile nature of the market do you think the up trend in the plantation sector will continue?

Did you read this? “As this is a major uptrend it is very difficult to predict top for any stock. As I said before trend is up for this sector. On valuations plantations stocks should go up.”

We should happy that uptrend is intact for plantation sector along with broader market. That doesn’t mean ELPL will not go up behind Rs.30. HAPU should pass Rs.50 first. Even warrants are trading at higher prices in some case over Rs.50. Why not plantations companies having valuable healthy dink with solid asset bases such as valuable land and valuable timber still is trading below their net asset per share and below the P/E ratio of 7. Just like other stocks these stocks should adjust to the market. We are seeing it now. It is time to look for new areas and stocks which didn’t have meaningful rally yet. We need to study Plantation sector thoroughly now. Because tea is fast becoming popular healthy drink globally. Even some coffee drinkers may switch to Tea. During next two years we can get better idea about global tea market trend. Accordingly we can get better decisions. During last tea auctions there were great demand for high quality high grown tea and CTC tea. There is a limit for producing some variety of high quality tea. When demand goes up tea prices should go up. We have to wait and see.

May be I should go for Hapu and Mprh more?  I don’t know which one to select? It is so much better if we can identify breakout stock like UDPL in advance.  When we analyse companies we should not make decisions on the basis of few quarters and fast earnings alone. We need to study future earrings and growth.

Why do Starbuck and McDonald want to have tea in their business?

I posted this when UDPL was at 45 levels ,Now it has gone up to 57 also. Now the price is 53.50.
UDPL will further move up.All time high 66.It will break easily.possible to reach 70,80,90 levels.
Focus on UDPL.Thats why i posted Specially UDPL.Other Tea Plantation companies will not be appreciated like UDPL.This time UDPL will be the STAR.

2014 financial year will be massive- EPS will be gone up.NAV is going up continuously as they are still not taking the profit out.Profits(EPS) will contribute to the higher NAV of UDPL.

UPDL predictions.

2014-Q1=Good
2014-Q2=SUPERB
2014-Q3=NOTHING MUCH-BUT OK
2014-Q4=MASSIVE

So overall EPS will be superb.
SO KEEP IN TOUCH with this.
