LIOC going down. Should i wait before i sell or sell now and exit ? Experts pls help !!

What is your average price?
If its short tearm investment exit.
If it is Mid or Long hold.

This is a good share for Mid to Long tearm. In another 1 to 3 year time, this will trade above 150

LIOC profits will be up in Dec quarter - this is till a good share. Dont panic.

Can there be another fuel price cut before elections. If so panic sellers will bring down this share down

Think of the future bro , with the hybrid concept how far could the demand continue?
look at there revenue, look whats happening to the world oil demand its coming down,
i was speaking to an IOC pump-man, and he said yes not like those days now the pumping rates are low, imagine with the electric three wheeler coming in future , hybrid taxes import taxes coming down , Electric vehicle taxes coming down, More electric Vehicles coming down, further i heard that that mazda has launched Diesel hybrid, imagine Hybrid Bikes coming to the world, therefore i dont see any future potential in this

Did u look at the revenue if not please look at the revenue before asking others to do so.
LIOC revenue increased from 20 billion to 22 billion may be because hybrid vehicles. If u not providing proper details innocent investors will get misled. World oil demand is still there even in Sri lanka .World oil supply coming down due to heavy supply not because of lower demand .
I am not scared still I am holding my target is 3rd quarter.

Yes Sirimevan, its a good point that you highlighted. Will see what happen in future. Need to keep a close look for share like this. Will see what happen in another 2 to 3 year time.

For electronic vehicles need time to adjust for peoples in sri lanka. Still developed countries also using petrol. LIOC need to plan there future to face these kind of changes and adjust accordingly. Will see what happen in future for Vehicles and LIOC. Smile

Hybrid vehicles still require petrol/diesel. Electric vehicles have a different story. So, the demand won't disappear, but volume might decrease. That's it.

I remember when BFL,TAFL,GRAN run some are told BFL will reach 1000 TAFL & GRAN will reach 600 in 2 to 3 years time. But it didnt happened like that. Because market will change time to time.
Same thing to PCH, some one told this will also go up and it has a bright future. But it didnt happened because of bad management.

Different story when we talking about BFL,TAFL

But its not the fault of the person who told that. At that time we saw good future in this companies. We all think that profit will increase quarter ro quarter and calculate according to that. But some time profit will go down some time go up some time flat some time loss.

Revenue increased means demand is increasing that's why LIOC revenue increased from 20 billion to 22 billion .

For the demand you can refer profit you should refer revenue.

Here people are giving lot of statement having no idea about the revenue of LIOC.
In Sri lanka LIOC demand is getting better and better.
If not prove me with statistics.

I am not telling that LIOC is bad company. It is a one of the best company in CSE now to invest. According to there earnings this will change. But still this is good company and it has good future. If this earnings remain for coming quarters this will reach 150 in 2 to 3 year time.

They are buying at very low price and selling at higher price so should gain huge profit in 3rd quarter that is my opinion.
