AEL future is gloomy due to Sumal Perera's action to finance US$ 100mn for MR's campaign with Nivard Cabraals interference. Therefore please be careful before getting into AEL. This not a promotion or demotion but it is just a word of caution before investing.

Unless there is a probe ,AEL will be around 18 to 22 levels.

No way AEL has great support around 26.This is not a crap share.AEL is a fundamentally strong counter.So with the quarterly reports also due this will move into the 30-32 levels in short term.Sumal will back the current government.His projects will be handed back to them after the probe,bcoz AEL is one of the pioneers in constuction industry in sri lanka.

There is only one question to ask. "Is the company you are trying to invest having an economic moat?". If the answer is yes, keep all short terms fluctuations aside.
For me AEL is a market leader in its segment.

Those who invested with AEL hurt lot in this post. We sold our quantities so dont feel such a hurt. But wait and see to buy in low. I can say 50 percent of back bone gone from this company. When it comes to any companys life cycle,we can see various stages of growth. Small companies can become giants vs large companies can become ants. There are lot of in this history. For my valuations access loss 50 percent its internal values. But they will not vanish. It will take time to stablish once,may be 2,3 years to recover. Ael wants big projects to utilize their thousads of work force. Even utilizing their modern equipments. We can see millions figure in depreciation. That much of huge fixed assets register in active. So ael want big businesses with higher margins. They invested their capital by targeting future projects specially high ways,water projects,bridges and top storeys buildings. So will they receive those works as expected. My answer is NO in a short time.

Best option is to wait and see. The company has not bankrupt yet Shareholders to hold and potential investors to watch out. The infrastructure projects will happen but with less expenditure. Watch out for the next quarter result.

Removal of the Customs duty applicable on cement and steel billets from last budget may get less construction expense for them. But AEL is still over value and surely will drop to 22/-

I loved this company so much and had enough holdings. But i sold them all according to the situation with a good profit. I expessed my idea on same time and stated my opinion. I said it will drop to 26 when it was trading 38 plus. So it drop to 25 and today trades at 27/-. how ever i set my mind to buy @ 22/-. we want much big fund to make uptrend this share. I dont see such a drama at the moment.

See one thing is crystal clear. If you want to earn money by investing in cse, you have to become a politician first. They change policies time to time and get the chances of price fluctations. Yesturday morning AEL was trading around 25/- but evening session reached to 27/-, so whats the reason for price appreciation from 25-27?, its because of the cabinet decision to continue port city. So who created this news first. POLITICIANS ONLY. so they or their friends purchased thi. S Share yesturday and hope to sell today with this cabinet decision. They buy low,create stories,and sell us to high prices. This market mafia creates this kind of panic pressures,buying pressures and play with our hard earned money. I feel they make millions by we are putting in traps. Are we pool to buy blindly and make them rich? how ever president yet to vist china to discuss this project in march.
