NAVP 50.33
Last Quarter EPS 2.8

Expected EPS annualized = 2.8*3 + 4 (Dec)
                                         = 12.4

Expected P/E ration during this year 10 - 12
Then Expected Price = 12.4*10 = around 125-150

if they can continue they are earnings. I think this year this sector can earn more money bcz of low production cost

Demand outlook for poultry products

Global egg prices are touching all time high. There is a tight supply situation for eggs in the USA. They cannot increase their supply within the short period and only option they left is importing eggs from other countries to face their egg shortage.  So they cannot increase export of poultry products like in the past now. It will take some times to do this. That also is depending on certain factors. Even in India there is a strong demand for poultry products and recently in Hyderabad Egg prices touched all time high. There is good demand for eggs and chicken in Sri-Lanka as well. Egg prices were trading below Rs.13 in the past now it is trading around Rs.16. Broiler chicken prices also has risen due to strong demand.

We are seeing demand not only for eggs and chicken but also for animal feed and chicks as well.  In addition, there is a demand for poultry products in regional markets especially for poultry products of TAFL. It is something that we didn’t see even during last poultry rally.  At least they are building relationships with new global customers which will benefit poultry companies in the long run. In short, there is a good demand for poultry products in Asia due to tight supply. Listed poultry stocks in Asia will be winners in this type of situation. In the USA there is a strong demand for eggs and eggs prices are sky rocketing. Worsening tight supply situation there could lead to further pressure on egg prices in the coming months and coming years.

In addition, listed poultry companies are benefiting from other fronts as well.

Lower oil prices
Lower commodity and raw material prices
Booming tourist industry in Sri-Lanka
Lower inflation

Out of above three, which company can have more opportunity during next two years in a low cost environment and better demand for poultry products? Can GRAN have more opportunity?

GRAN is generating income by producing animal feed and other poultry products and income coming from TAFL

TAFL is producing everything such as eggs, chicks and chicken except animal feed

BFL is going to produce animal feed as well. Their earnings outlook is also strong.
