Why investors are so afraid to buy TWOD? Is this due to the court case or any other matter? And also any one can explain me is this case regarding valuation of trees or pay dividend using revaluation reserves. Do you know any clear document to read? Thanks.

People are scared because they have not study about TWOD. And since they think that is the one and only share @ CSE...

This is really about their financial statement in 2005. Their financial stmt shows a profit. Sri lanka accounting standard board (Govt. Body) says they assesment of biological value assesment was out of standard account practice and company try show a profit in that year. If TWOD found guilty they will fine the TWOD. This is not a major issue now even they fine the company. Only thing is court suspended their bonus issue.

This mean TWOD is a very good undervalued share. Is't it?

lol... SL need only one natural disaster to destroy few acres of TWOD and it will come to 20. then 18 > 15 . : )

guys if 2012 worlds end is true. im sure v need to expect some disasters in the coming months. if so better invest on strong , healthy, fundamentally sound shares so at least u can enjoy from your money til u die. Very Happy

y ppl stil talk about this share ? i wonder.. i`ll bet u this will neva gonna reach 40s 50s this yr and not even 2012, and not even 2013. ( thats if the world wont end up on 21.12.2012 )..

ok im jokin abt the worlds end part but im serious abt the TWOD share. y this ?? coz some re stuck ? lack of knowledge ?

The recent movement in the price is due to the price was pushed up by the group and slowly they are out from the trend. And same people now started to collect for other run.

Court Case is nothing, however this is also on of the factor for the impact on price. Before we did no exact date of the case,and there were chances to postponed due to SLASMB was not in the stage of preparation. Now the final date fixed on 18.07.2011. We will be able to hear the outcome whether is favorable or not.

However, based on the facts and info Case would be favorable to Company, BASL Newsletter judgment review clearly talk about the SLASMB stand on the case. ( Pls refer the BASL judgment review. http://research.srilankaequity.com/t96-touchwood-case-basl-bar-association-news-letter-judgement-views). The present mkt condition influence the current downward price movement of TWOD , otherwise it was stagnate between the price range of Rs.27-28. Now previous group has chance to collect at bottom after enough qty they will ready for the another run

No Think9 What i was saying is It would have stagnated in between 27-28 with the previous run. the present drop in the price (Rs.25) due to adverse mkt condition, once the mkt recover it will have other run and will place in 28-30 before the court case.

I dont think TWOD is a Devil. It is going to be an Angel very soon. Reffer to previous discussion on this issue.
