Whoever chose, he should be corrupted free career, qualified, dynamic & capable of running the top financial institute of the country. To come out from existing economic turmoil selection of a smart person, who can work independently towards country's benefit is, vital of importance.

Management of private company is not similar to management of public money. I won't say he is not good. But this task is a different one and he may fail or pass .

Political people from Colombo elite not suitable as Central  Bank governor

Best examples are Nivard Cabral and Arjuna Mahendren

One of good Governor is Mr Disanayaka from Anuradhapura who is product of Central College and

very honest Civil Servant

There were good governess from Colombo Public schools also

What knowledge does this individual have of monetary policy and economics? Managing HR does not give one the qualification to be a governor of a central bank.
