Good result.Net profit increase 59%.Loan and advances increased 74% from last year.

Worrying thing is impairement charge 35Million(400% increase)

I hope this counter would show further growth in coming quarters.

This is 100% better than CSF, in any kind of valuation AAF should be traded beyond 2.00 rupees. How ever entering 1.50-1.60 level will be a great buy . time to time we have to study the behaviour of main share holder too. I guess they have accumilated nearly 60% at the moment.
Overall it's a good counter to enter in correct price.

It's misleading info, that is not quarterly eps, it's annualized eps.
very bad of them for reporting in such a misleading way

Some companies put anualised eps. They have to refer whether it is quarterly or anualised.

.27 is annualised eps. And asset value too good. They are improving eps q on q. Share will move to 2.50 levels soon.

Main share holder Muthoot group is major player in India.

Good. But they clearly say as quarterly results and gave annualized eps without mentioning it. Not acceptable. Very cheating.

1. It's interesting to see that Dr.  Senthilverl has increased his stake over the last quarter from around 7 million to nearly 23 mill shares.  Subject to audit, this quarterly shows a NAV of 1.81 which makes AAF one of the most undervalued shares available as it still trades today at 1.6.  Some finance companies trade so many times over their NAV and excessively over their EPS but here is a huge exception.

2. Meanwhile, I think the downward selling pressure on AAF is finally over or less as ACAP who once was the main shareholder has finally sold their remaining 74 million shares.  They've been dragging this out over months due to the unfavourable market conditions and this in turn dragged AAF towards 1.4 frequently.  Both companies benefit given the cash windfall of possibly 118 million for ACAP and less selling pressure on shares of AAF.

3.  Muthoot Finance which has 60% of AAF is known as the largest gold financing company in the world, a company founded in 1939 with over 4200 branches and listed on the BSE.  When the parent company is solid like a JKH or Mercedes, much tends to go right with the actual company.
