As per the statement given by Petroleum Minister on In LBO, now price formula is in the final implementation stage. I hope it will be implemented without much delay. This is a one of conditional requirement to be fulfilled under the USD 1.5 Bn IMF loan facility. Due to temporary suspend of VAT increase by court decision, government had to look at alternative short term income sources and they increase fuel import tax as temporary income source. Now government is in the process of correcting the same.

Now, world crude oil price again leading towards 30_40 $ due to global over supply. According to analyst, this excess supply will continue for another years. This will benefit LIOC due to low import cost and increased margin.

LIOC already declared final dividend for financial year 2015_16.

I think with the out of this September quarter results, LIOC will declare an interim dividend around Rs 0.50_ 1.00 per share. Both June & September cumulative profit will be around 3.5 Bn. With the good accumulative profit, LIOC will go for an Interim Dividend declaration like they did in 2013_14.
Now good time for LIOC is on the way. Good dividend income plus capital gain can be expected from LIOC.
