I’ve got a big lost in GREG.N & DPL over a 1.5 million, I got from those shares
DPL .N- 129.24
GREG.N – 116.00
I settled all the many and keeping these shares. Will it be go up or what will be happen to them. Appreciated your comments. Thanks Sad

Yes .
these shares will move up.But I feel it will be a long term investment.(to cover your loses)But I feel there are many more shares which has got more worth of value than these shares .
People who want to have quick buck will burn their fingers very frequently and in big amounts.Personally I have faced this.
Mainly look at the financial value then trading pattern and speculation.Not the last one first.

DPL, GREG and CLPL are one group of company as far as I know. U have bought those shares at peak.
GREG is usually a manipulated share....but these days it seems people has lost their interest....
But definitely it will go up again....But I think U better bring down the prices by averaging as these prices are very high(GREG at least around 90/=). But do not go for marginal trading as finacial performances are not good in GREG.
Anyway u have to be very very patience...

Dear Hipokid,

I'm sorry for you and some time i feel I'm also in the same boat. I've SEYB from December worth of 3M and still my average is higher than current market price. When I joined the CSE, one of my friends said SEYB will be very good and their prices will go up end of December and to earn big profit I filled with SEYB more than 50% of my PF at that time. What to do, still I'm keeping it in my PF as a long term counter as rijayasooriya said. I averaged but not success in my story. Why?? Because I've no much knowledge at that time and price difference what I purchased SEYB is to average hadn't much price difference.
In your case, If the price difference between your purchased price and current price is less than 30% (I got this information from one of the experts in this forum mentioned earlier tread), you can buy some and get average and keep as long term investment.

rijayasooriya, I think no margin facility provider accept to buy GREG counters. I checked with HNB, Commercial and Asha Phillips Finance and no one accept to buy GREG counters. May be the brokers who promoted GREG will provide the facility Laughing

GREG is a scam to me which I've been saying for years Wink

but we cannot forget its a speculative share subject to lot of manipulation whenever ppl want it..
I bet ur best chance is to average it at these lower levels and get out slowly..
DPL also in GREG family can follow the same pattern. Only I found CLPL to be a little off the trend.. So what I think right is;
1) Find some money and buy some quantity if these to avg..
2) sell off 1/3 of it when it comes up looking at daily trading patter I think this would be up in anycase..

I bought greg when It was 100 ... 1/2 shr I sold @ 70 .. and again I bought same amout of shrs @ 60 ... now 62 It didnt cover my total lost but it reduce my lost...

My uncle was investing money in cse very long time ago... 2006 he bought RCL around 50 ,, 10000shr & JKH big amount of shrs ....market drop very badly ...his portfolio was total red with big lost ... bcos of the war ... wat he did just leave the market...
again he came to the market 2010 Oct ... That time RCL price was near to 350 and JKH also 350+ ..he made very good profit .... be more patience. ...

Some time ago the SEC started questioning the company regarding the investments made by its associate company in BVI. I understand that GREG has asked for a letter clearing them of the charges made against them from the SEC. Till they receive this letter of clearance the share price may remain under pressure.

if u can invest on fundamentally strong shares like MBSL,PABC,FLCH,LOLC,TWOD,other than the GREG & DPL , that will help to recover your money.if u have money then u can invest on without thinking previous loss.in my concern GREG is a very risky share.if you can sell them in small qtys by investing above shares..(odd) within 2-3 years it will help to reduce your frustration .but you have to invest on good shares.....otherwise u lose both invested money...do not worry...EVERY ONE GET A CHANCE..... Smile

Since GREG is listed in main board Lion Heart could hold < 75% of GREG.N but at the moment it holds 93.62% of Normal share.
So they should dump at least 18.62% of GREG.N. One way is to push the share and gradually dump it to others.
I think this is the reason they postponed the W1 conversion date to December 2011. And W2 conversion date is due in February or March in 2012. So if they push up the share at the later part of this year their objective can be achieved.
(Even they convert W1 today or at December 2011 they will get 24 rupees from each conversion.)
Please share your views

At the end of 2011

They will have time to get clearance from SEC and improve their reputation
Market will be stable
No credit clearance issue in 2012

These are my thought
I hold GREG warrants bought at different levels but below 40.

According to my knowledge you are not the only one in this situation. As "Seyon" mentioned correctly GREG is to get clearance from the SEC.
GREG recently had a EGM (last week) and while answering shareholders questions, the Board members has told that they will be getting the clearance note from the SEC by next Wednesday most probably. If not that GREG will file a court case against the SEC it seems.

Also according to some information I collected from some reliable persons prices of GREG can be move sharply in coming two three weeks. (rumor is that GREG will reach Rs 100/= ) Also DPL expected be announced a Right Issue with warrants in month of December according to the same informer.

Hope I have relieved your pressure a bit. Have some good sleep bro.

Disclosure: I hold only 6 shares of GREG.N and 21 warrants which I couldnt sell in the last rally.
My informer is a broker attached to a reputed brokering company (which is also reputed for manupilating GREG family)
