Tomorrow will be interesting due to the GSP Plus facility. I am going to look at the actions of the foreign investors to gauge whether or not they feel it would go through. The Foreign Investors traded heavily on the positive news from the IMF negotiations well before the news hit Sri Lanka. That being said the market as it stands is too high for any sensible long term investor.

I am personally against speculating on market prices for short term profits. My strategy is just to buy companies at prices that are lower than their true worth. I am not concerned with short term speculative profits, market timings, and share manipulations (scrip dividends, share splits, etc). However there is too much herd behavior in the market and I am standing all alone like the loser at a party who has no one to dance (trade) with.

A statement made about the future is always susceptible to attack. It might lead to unknown direction. However, showing favoritism or on sided announcement bears no value & validity at all.
