Have you noticed that from last week Capital Trust brokers who have a large portion of the retail fools under them have dropped publishing the fundamental analysis research?
Instead they have published how much the shares have dropped in prices over the quarters. That means instead of saying that a particular blue chip share goes at a PE ratio of 45 they're saying the share price has dropped by 50% since 6 months so it will go up to that original value soon, so you people should buy these undervalued shares. Twisted Evil
This is really dangerous. I remember. First times when I bought the shares. I did not know about the fundamentals. I bought famous blue chip shares thinking I will keep them for few years. Fortunately I sold them at a loss when I learned about some fundamentals.
I hope Capital Trust won't drop the fundamentals and inform the investors something like that Seylan bank transaction saying it was just a mistake and selected the wrong share when putting the gigantic order.

May be CapitalTrust has realized that no fundamentals works in CSE thesedays. They may be the first broker communicate it to their clients and others will also follow soon.

Most of the investors here have frustrated investing with fundamental analysis/fundamental sound stocks .... instead chasing behind illiquids/manipulated stocks!

Dude Mr. Sarath Rajapakse is the Technical Analysis guru, its proven and tested over the past that his reports and predictions works well
mark my word, he will never go wrong,
why do you think Capital trust has the biggest client base when comparing to the other brokers, its because of the research and analysis reports
may be other brokers dont know how to publish technical analysis reports,
believe it or not only Technical analysis works in CSE

(may be if you are investing for 10 yrs + u should go for fundamentals but we dont give a damn about it)

We are here to make money, who cares whether its fundamentals or technical, lol

Technical analysis is a science not every one can do it

how many ppl think like this. this the one of reason for the present situation of the mkt. do not angry with me friend, i must say this. without fundamentals there is no recovery. it is sorry to say that CT is the worst M & S in the mkt. there r lots of exsamples. previously BLUE,GREG it was the main reason for the price bands & other barears. No

When u consider the aspect of investment.. Yes fundamentals are the best.. Then again u come to a point where speculation, manipulation takes dumb money out from retailers to the big fellas pockets.. Thats money making..

So we need both to survive a down turn like this.. We keep investing in fundamentals while generating quick cash in and out with speculation.. I think thats how u manage your money smartly.. Wink

However stock market is a highly risky place to put your money in.. U enter wrong time and u might regret it.. invest wisely..

Interesting observation. Looks like brokers are trying to hide the fact the shares are overly expensive even at these low levels. but I saw in broker comments they say companies made massive profits. We may see the profit numbers tumble down from quarter to quarter. They can't sell assets every day like drug addicts selling household items. If brokers didn't give so much credit from the start we wouldn't have these pumped prices in the first place.
