When u say something u should give a reason as to why..

I respect the fact that u may be a matued, experience investor/trader than us, but even how much mature u are or the years in experience you have, just talk bearish of all the shares may allow you to position your self as a prominent joker in the forum.. I mean there's a rational to all of our thought know? Or else we call it gut feeling sometimes Wink

SAMP can come down to 150s if we see ASI around 4700... So investers should grab these shares as much cheaper as they could...

You are absolutely correct.I see no reason for SAMP to come down.

i want to buy some more @ 170
if you have bought @182 then thats fine .perhaps you looked at fundamentals and bought it.i dont see any technical reason behind it.but if you have bought after carefully assessing then its another reason altogether not to mention some inside info Laughing for me there is no reason to buy at 172 again unless some buying pressure that will make stocks to be above the MA at that level.i always like to be on the side of the trend when i enter. and not the opposit.i would like you to re assess and decide carefully where you will place your buy orders Cool if i were you i will place my orders as follows;

1st LOT @ 170/- (You already bought at 182/-)
2nd LOT @ 135/-
3rd LOT @ 95/-

Each time averaging to reflect market price.

I will sell them off @ 200/-, 240 and @285 Very Happy

But i will trade using my own funds and to with MARGIN.as i very shrewd to give money to the broker other than his due brokerage.

but i like to advise to hold on the share and wait for the crossing of stock price the MA to purchase more as this will be the safest as you will be trading with the momentum.

I think mid 2012 it was trading around 145.00. But can we expect this around 165.00 again.I have been collecting this from 190.00 level with small quantities.(100 blocks) Now have second thoughts to wait for quarterly results.

Just a clarification.....to understand better on FIB levels.
The lines are drawn taking into account the HIGH points & LOW Points. If the prices are below 61.8% this is considered still bearish and once the share is crossing 61.8% you identify the trend has changed and its BULLISH and people would BUY. with slight pull back on selling off.
Assuming the counter moves towards lets say 190rs then usually what happens is that the initial profit taking do occur that could bring the SAMP back to 170-180 levels if you are a trader.
This will give another opportunity to BUY in further driving the Price go above previous HIGH around 190 Smile
for me I will buy few thousands around 170-172 levels with expecting more fall towards 160. where I will accumulate more ....

With regard to LSE setting the FIB levels on 0%-100% current 170 price imo could be a Reversal Zone according to Harmonic PP as well Smile
But I would not discount SAMP can come further below.....
Good Luck...

As a longterm investor you could BUY few now and wait for a possible dip should it come your way Smile

SAMP has  reached 76.4% fib level and nicely held at 170.
Next level will be decided by the sep Q report,if it is bad share price may test the previous low of 148

Increased share volume and crossings in past few days is a hint that Sep Q is not that bad.

since 1st Oct
RSI is moving from 33 to 45  indicating buying has increased.
ADX down from 44 to 29  showing ongoing down trend is reversing.
MACD has crossed below and moving up.
So possibility of testing 61.8% [184] in coming weeks is high.

Friends,

This is not a Buy Recommendation. I've just added this graph to show you about the current trading pattern of the Sampath Bank. Weekly the RSI is reversing back from the bottom and MACD also showing a clear reversal pattern at the current level.  Continuous Buying pattern  with high volumes indicating a possible uptrend withing the next few days.

About the Doji Candlestick formation at the bottom of this graph,

The Doji is a powerful Candlestick formation, signifying indecision between bulls and bears. A Doji is quite often found at the bottom and top of trends and thus is considered as a sign of possible reversal of price direction, but the Doji can be viewed as a continuation pattern as well.
