HVA revealed that it had recently been certified by Iran, by way of its GMP authorisation scheme, as a production centre to supply Ceylon Tea to that country, a move that will strenghten its Middle Eastern presence. This is a part of an ongoing "major expansion drive" by the company which includes "local strategic development as well as regional manufacturing facilities as joint venture operations."
Also noted, as an example, the progress of its flagship, Heladiv Iced Tea brand which was indicated as helping to make inroads for the Heladiv brand in "key markets where the youth is driving growth." (JH)
