Today after 2.28pm, 464,000 of BROWNS shares were traded at Rs. 318/-Some one(HNWI) is entering I believe. Otherwise may be Directors are buying.I can remember Directors bought its shares heavily about two weeks back. May be they are repeating for some reason.

i think it was a purchase. because in that time it was trading at 314/-. any way it is a very good fundamental stock. this level is very very good to me. (not a buy recommendation), but ppl are not interesting. their eps was was 29+ as at 31.03.2011,but annual report not yet out. if they perform well in this qt, it may hit previous level....... Very Happy

osmond, In fact I had a big quantity of BROWNS and after I found last quater results were not as expected immediately I sold at 370 level. Not because of I had doubt on the future perfomance of the company but I knew investor behaviour in srilanka when Q resutls are not as expected. I expected quick selling pressure and before I sold my stake. But current price is very attractive for me too. However in this bear market I have to watch further before taking a decision.

BRWN profits are fluctuating heavily from quarter to quarter. Check the reports. Some quarters it's a mountain, sometimes it's a big deep hole.

Two stocks considered could revert to normal soon are BRWN and GUAR. both seem to be going at a discount with good financial reports.

Please explain me what you all refer as buy or sell? To my knowledge if its a crossing its a two party involvement and one will be a buyer and one will be a seller. I'm not clear on this.

Yes that's true! One will be a seller and the other one will be a buyer! For One to sell (Exit- as used by many in the forum) one has to buy (Enter).

Buy/Sell side can consider in normal market i.e when the bids are clearing up that means selling, when the asks are clearing up that mean buying, easy!
But in crossings I don't think we can see such thing, But if you know the buyer and the seller (and their background) you might be able to get an idea on that deal!

Not only crossings , there were purchases by directors. ...Next half of the year mainly depends on fundamentals. ...Institutional buying has also started.
