Did our market really need those rules.........

Price Band - I totaly agreed to this. but the problem is, do they (SEC) impose properly.
Credit Clearing - did our market need this. think ............ widely........

all these rules came because of speculation of few stocks. What are they,

BLUE, TWOD, GREG, CLPL, DPL. do you remember .......................................

Trading hold for those. but why they suddenly imposed a rule like credit clearing ?????
acually it was also because of few broker firms. They have gone beyond their limits. I am not going to mention thier names. (Danno Danithi). But what our unexperiance new head of SEC done???? What did she say " we have imposed this because to protect the investor".

According to my understand, all the brokering company has a deposit of 500MN @ CB, as a security Shocked . If they go wrong CB can deduct the due amount from that deposit. Those few broker companies who have gone beyond the limits are new commers to the markets. Did SEC consider all the factors?????

I am not sure about that. If they took an action aginst only for those broker firms it would be more effetive & Other Broker firms also whould have been controlled automatically.

What do you think ??????????

Rules should be there for a fair play in any Stock Exchange, but the problem is the effectiveness of these rules. How many times this price band rule has been changed, but still manipulation is continuing. The credits were to clear before end of last year December .If that decision was implemented accordingly the mkt would have recovered now and functioning well within its limits. Now its dragging and dragging, seems not end.

In my opinion CSE did not expect the big volumes of transactions or the number of investors so the SEC was not prepared to curtail things like insider dealings, market manipulations, unregulated broker credit etc. So they had to act only after the incident occurred. That’s why the rules and regulations were haphazardly introduced. But in my opinion all these rules and regulations would guarantee a good future for the investors.

this all starts from TWOD and DPL as i rmmbr,i hold both at that time and rushed to sell TWOD when price bad imposed.
Btw thanks to credit clearing we were saved by a huge bubble before burst,if not already prices may be at sky and may be mkt already crashed to bottom.

rmmbr what happened after Dr bubble said Question ,mkt dipped over 5% in one day,SEC really learnt a lesson from it Twisted Evil

so im with their regulations, but somewhere wrong in the way they do it. Evil or Very Mad
