Its been observed that same topic been repeated on different treads by different posters, QB, CSE is only having 260+ companies, cant we just create separate tread or room or what ever for each of this companies , and move the already existing posts under those company name. this way it will be very easy to get idea about a company and same topic wont be repeated allover again and again. Under company name fundamental analysis and technical analysis can be categorized and recent rumors and news can also be kept. I dont know how practical this idea is but hope it will do a great deal of good organizing this forums posts in a easy to refer manner.

Eg:

Company ZZ Company TT

Technical analysis posts..... > xxxx xxxxx
Fundamental analys posts ..... > xxxx xxxxx
Rumors
Latest developments
Etc....

This is a good suggestion.
If categorizing older posts seems too tedious, may be we could do this sort of thing for the newest posts.

This way stock market talk section will have 3 or 4 pages mentioning each and every company and rest of the pages display under each company. It will reduce unanswered topics as well as repeating same topic. Paticularly with growing number of post and members, necessity of this will increase. Great idea. But admin, if you have time!

I respect the suggestion made. However, my view is that, if we try to categorize posts, the forum will be too 'mechanical' and less 'humane'. Ultimately the site may become less 'interesting' and less 'exciting'.

Perhaps, a better way to do this is to have a mechanism to show 'similar topics' once we are viewing a topic. There are many sites working in this manner and I guess it is not very difficult to implement here also.

@ Hunter , u r idea is good. But with the new trend most common similar topics will be,

1. X will hit Rs xxxx on monday
2. I bought Y @ rs xxx , when will this go up????
3. Y looks good, watch out.. it will go up from monday

I think you haven't noticed that there is a item call similar topic at the bottom of the page. It is already implemented

If some one or some group trying to flooding posts about a stock with same kind of rumors that might be the case. Otherwise I don't see any problem

personally i think that this forum is much organized than the other forums which we see in the web. 2 thumbs up for the creator ... and thumb up for the moderators for keeping junkies out. But no matter how good this is their always room for improvement .. all the best S L E F.
